Live Sudoku is intended to be enjoyed by players of all ages, and casual play (including live multiplayer matches) does not require an account. However, to register an account or submit content (such as guestbook posts, profile information, or messages), you must be at least the age of digital consent in your country (generally 13 in the United States, and 16 in much of the European Union), or have the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By creating an account, you affirm that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below this age without verifiable parental consent, and if we become aware that we have, we will delete the information promptly. Provided you are eligible to use the Site, Live Sudoku grants you a non-exclusive, limited, non-sublicensable, and non-transferable license to access and use the Site and Service, and to download or print a copy of any portion of the Content to which you have properly gained access, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. All rights, titles, and interests in the Site, Service, Content, and associated intellectual property are reserved by Live Sudoku. • you are at least the minimum age set out above, or are using the Site under appropriate parental or guardian supervision;

Some features of the Site — including saving progress, accessing the Hall of Fame, customizing your profile, and posting in the Guestbook — require a Live Sudoku account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. We reserve the right to reclaim usernames that impersonate other people, infringe trademarks, or are otherwise inappropriate. You may close your account at any time by contacting us; closure does not relieve you of obligations incurred before the account was closed. Live Sudoku offers real-time multiplayer matches between users. To keep matches fair and enjoyable for everyone, you agree that, in connection with the multiplayer service, you will not:

• use any software, script, bot, automated solver, or external aid that solves or assists in solving puzzles on your behalf;
• collude with other players, share solutions, or coordinate to manipulate match outcomes or rankings;
• intentionally disconnect, lag-out, or otherwise disrupt matches to influence results;
• impersonate another user, or maintain multiple accounts to abuse rankings, rewards, or matchmaking; or
• harass, threaten, or behave abusively toward other players in lobbies, chats, or any related community feature.

We may, at our sole discretion, reset scores or statistics, void matches, suspend or close accounts, and take any other action we consider appropriate to enforce fair play. You agree not to access or use the Site or Service for any purpose other than that for which we make them available. Specifically, you agree that:

• you will not access the Site through automated or non-human means, such as bots, scripts, or other automation tools;
• you will not use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose;
• you will not remove or circumvent any technical or protective measures on the Site or Service;
• you will not, without our prior written consent, use any robot, spider, scraper, deep-link, or other automated data-gathering or extraction tools, programs, algorithms, or methodologies to access, acquire, copy, or monitor any portion of the Site or Service — including user accounts, user data, puzzle databases, or any proprietary information — for any purpose, including commercial purposes such as training machine-learning algorithms or artificial-intelligence models;
• you will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of the Site, or to any other systems or networks connected to the Site, by hacking, password mining, or any other illegitimate means;
• you will not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or any network connected to it, nor breach the security or authentication measures on the Site;
• you will not reverse-look-up, trace, or seek to trace any information about any other user or visitor of the Site; and
• the Site and Service may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavor unless specifically endorsed or approved by us in writing.

You acknowledge and agree that any postings, messages, text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, comments, suggestions, ideas, feedback, or other materials you provide on, transmit through, or link from the Service ("Submissions" or "Content") are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originates. Live Sudoku staff do not pre-screen user-submitted Content. We have the right, in our sole discretion, to remove any Content from our servers or from the Site at any time, with or without notice. You may not rely on the availability or accuracy of any Content uploaded by you or by any other user.

By submitting any Content to public areas of the Site (such as the Guestbook, your profile, or multiplayer chat), you grant Live Sudoku a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, adapt, and distribute that Content in connection with operating and promoting the Site, in any media now known or later developed. We have no responsibility for the content, accuracy, or availability of any linked third-party website. If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent and believe your intellectual-property rights have been infringed on Live Sudoku, you may submit a notification under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") by providing our copyright agent with the following information in writing (see 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

• remove from the Site, or otherwise disable or hide, any Content we deem inappropriate; and
• otherwise manage the Site and Service in a manner designed to protect our rights and property and to facilitate the proper functioning of the Site and its user community.

WITHOUT LIMITING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THESE TERMS, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO, IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION AND WITHOUT NOTICE OR LIABILITY, DENY ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICE (INCLUDING BLOCKING CERTAIN IP ADDRESSES) TO ANY PERSON FOR ANY REASON OR FOR NO REASON, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION FOR BREACH OF ANY REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY, OR COVENANT CONTAINED IN THESE TERMS, OR OF ANY APPLICABLE LAW OR REGULATION. If we terminate or suspend your account for any reason, you are prohibited from registering or creating a new account under your name, a false or borrowed name, or the name of any third party, even if you may be acting on behalf of the third party. You acknowledge that we will not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to the Site or Service. In addition to terminating or suspending your account, we reserve the right to take appropriate legal action, including pursuing civil or injunctive relief. We cannot guarantee the Site or Service will be available at all times. We may experience hardware, software, or other problems, or need to perform maintenance related to the Site, resulting in interruptions, delays, or errors. You agree that we have no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by your inability to access or use the Site or Service during any downtime or discontinuance. Nothing in these Terms obligates us to maintain or support the Site or Service, or to supply any corrections, updates, or releases. These Terms and your use of the Site and Service are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded. The Parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site and Service (a "Dispute") through informal negotiation. If a Dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be brought exclusively before the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel, and the Parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any defense of inconvenient forum.

EU and UK residents. If you reside in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you may also be entitled to submit your complaint to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform or to the equivalent body in your country. Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer-protection rights under the law of your country of residence.

International dispute resolution. If you reside outside Israel, the EU, the UK, and the United States, you may have access to alternative dispute-resolution services provided by relevant authorities in your country or region. Please consult local consumer-protection agencies or online dispute-resolution platforms available in your area for further guidance.

Class-action waiver. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDING WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
